Tim Goes to See Emo Philips

A few months back, your pal Tim went on a mission to find
the great and wonderful comedian Emo Philips.  (And my mom
is a dead ringer for his old rag-doll look.)  [Not really - Mom]  Well,
my mission was accomplished June 9, 2001.  My mom and I took
a road trip to see our hero Emo, and here is our tale....

Here's my ticket for the big show.  Can you believe
they spelled his name wrong?  Oh, the horror!

Aww yeah! 

Emo brought me and mom up on stage right towards the beginning of the
show.  She was dressed like him, but it was me he noticed first.  Knowing
of his affinity for cole slaw, my mom made me a shirt that said "I love cole
slaw" and he saw me on the table and brought the Big T up on stage with him.
He joked about my deteriorating shape, saying, "I see you own a Cuisinart." 
Then he called me Calista Apeheart or something to that effect.  Man, I hope I
get to work with him someday.  He's the best.  But the greatest part of all came
when we went back to see him after the show and he told us that he has 2 huge
sock monkeys!  As if we didn't love the guy enough.  So a big shout out and
thank you to Emo for the laughs and the great gifts!  He ROCKS!!!
