  Welcome everyone to a new year here with Tim!  Happy 2001!  I hope everybody
   rocked in the new year properly.  I celebrated with Dick Clark as usual.  As you can
   see above, winter is upon us here in New England.   Bob and I are planning on doing
   some sledding later.  Then I'm going to make some questionable snowpeople.  I hope
   you all had a great holiday season.  Santa was good to me as usual.  I also enjoyed
   plenty of eggnog and kisses under the mistletoe.  During my recovery from all of the
   partying, I took some time to make some small changes to the look of my site.  I hope
   you like them!  In order to save space, I've moved all of my monthly updates from last
   year to an archive.  You can get to it from my main page or click here to relive some
   of 2000's finest sock moments.  You can also find the 1999 pages there.  I've also
   added some new song requests to my Requests Page and you can find a new movie
   clip on my Movies Page.  And thanks again to all of you guys for sending in your
   ideas and requests.  I have a few to get to, so stay tuned! 

   This month, I'd like everyone to meet Tyrone, another member of our monkey
   family.  He's an African-American monkey who was bought from some nuns at a local
   mall.  I'm also proud to say that we made another ebay rescue last month.  My mom
   bought a new monkey there as a gift, and she also found an older guy to come live with
   us.  You'll meet him soon.  This month my mom is taking me on a little mini-vacation to
   Mystic, Connecticut.  It's a quaint little town with little shops and a big aquarium that
   all the kiddies take field trips to.  <yawn>  So I'll have to make some adventures to
   spice things up.  (Pictures to come!)  Our hotel is only ten minutes away from the
   largest casino in the country, so I'm hoping to steer the car in that direction.  I think
   you hear me knocking Foxwoods, and I think I'm coming in to play some blackjack.  I
   am also under orders to rest my voice as I have been battling laryngitis for about a
   month.  That is the worst thing you could ask a sock like me to do!  Who will taunt for
   me?  Well folks, that's it for this month.  Keep sending in your great e-mails and site
