Picture of the Month:

There's nothing worse than a sick monkey...

Hey everybody!  Welcome to September with Big T in the house.  As you can see
above, I've been a little under the weather recently.
Mom keeps telling me to stop being
so dramatic, but party monkeys don't like to be sick.  Sadly, because of my weakened
state, my movie clip will be a few days late this month.  But I'm planning a pretty
interesting one, so stay tuned.  You can check for it on my Movies Page, or if you're lazy
like me, you can sign up for my e-mail list to be notified when it goes up.  The one thing I
did get around to doing was introducing you all to my pal Benny.  He's the featured friend
of the month.  Meet him here!  Also, I've got some new song requests up so check those
out as usual on my Requests Page.  Okay, now I have finished with all of that business.
If you're jonesing for a Tim fix and can't wait for the new movie clip, you can stay glued
to the reruns of The Wonder Years and look for my appearance as Winnie's sock
monkey.  - Warning:  Tim's Wonder Years rant ahead - Ah, Winnie Cooper and those
white go-go boots.  What the heck was wrong with her and Kevin?  They belong together!
I TOLD THEM Winnie and Kevin forever!  And what about Paul and..... okay, I'll stop.
  <phew>

I also have another bit of disappointing news for everyone about my intended
adventures last month.  Mother Nature and I had a little bit of a falling out so the day of
the big Gilman stalking at the outdoor fair she delivered thunderstorms.  I'm not allowed
to go out in the rain on account of the running lips, so my plan was foiled once again!
Drat!  Curses!  But he will be mine, oh yes, he will be mine.  This month I'll be looking for
trouble as I help my mom celebrate her birthday.  I think she'll be getting one drunk
monkey as a present.  I just hope I don't puke on her shoes again.  I will also be out
taunting all of the kiddies as they rot away all day in school.  hee hee!  Thanks for
sending in all of your requests and e-mails.  Once again, I've gotta say you guys rock.
Don't forget to seek out my old pal Nate and see his cool pics from his trip to China.
That is one globe-trotting simian.  Notice I am not mentioning the picture of Nate and the
Blue Man. It makes me run screaming to hide under the bed.  Also, I'm taking
suggestions for my Halloween costume so please send those in!!  Until next time, see ya
  kiddies!

   Fondly,

   Tim

Recommended Song of the Month:
Dirty Laundry, by Don Henley.  Just keep the socks
   clean.

Recommended DVD of the Month:  The Goonies - If only simply for the inclusion of the
"Goonies Are Good Enough" music video from Miss Cyndi Lauper.  And people say my mom
   is unusual.

Recommended Movie of the Month:  Zoolander.  I don't know about you, but come
September 28th I'll be in line waiting for the theater to open on this one.  If I actually wore pants,
I would have peed them by now from the trailer alone.  If you haven't seen it:

*New Feature* Haiku of the Month:  I feel this is really one of the lost art forms, so I am
starting a new feature to bring back the love of haiku.  Please send in any you write and I will
pick one each month to post.  Here is mine for this month:

Big bright red balloon
teasing me with its ribbon
black dog eats blue pie
