Happy New Year to Me!  Here I am spent after rockin' in the new
year with Mr. Clark.  As usual, you can see that I got lei'd.  hee hee!

  Hello hello and happy 2002 to everybody out there!  Welcome to the new year
  here at the home of the Big T.  Did you know that 2002 is the year of the sock monkey
  in the Yiddish Zodiac?  I didn't think so.  You see, you learn something new every day
  when you hang out with ol' Tim.  Anyhoo, some small tweaks have been made to the
  site, I hope you find them to your liking.  Just like to keep things fresh.  I hope
  everyone had a great holiday season.  As for me, I got lots of play under the mistletoe
  as usual.  I would like to let Santa know that I didn't think the Christmas Coal bubble
  gum in my stocking was amusing.  But I did get some other things to compensate, so all
  in all I was a content monkey.  There are some exciting things to come this year for
  me, and you know I'll be sharing them all with you.  One big event will be taking place
  this month!  My old pal Sock is going to be in the Boston area visiting his brother, so
  we're planning a big sock monkey meeting extravaganza!  Pictures to follow, of course.
  I'm also hoping to have the biggest sock monkey summit of all sometime this year with
  my oldest sock pal, the one and only Nate.  We're the pioneers, my friend!

    I've made one new addition this month to my page of People I'd Like to Slap.  There
  are also some new sound requests up.  I had to take most of the song files off to open 
  up some space, but there are still lots in the archives.  If there is one missing that you
  simply must have back, drop me a line and I'll be happy to add it back for you.  And as
  always, send in any ideas or feedback or just send me a hello e-mail.  I usually try to
  wait until I've sobered up to read them.  If not, you never know what kind of reply you
  might get.  Well kiddies, I'm off now to frolic in all of the snow that we haven't gotten
  yet.  I hope you all have a great month.  Happy New Year!

  Recommended Song of the Month:  Solid by Ashford and Simpson.  Solid as a rock, my
   friend.  Remember everyone taking cover from the rain and dancing under the bridge in the
   video?  It doesn't get much better than that.

  Recommended TV Viewing of the Month:  Okay, so she may have a talking cat and all, but
  Sabrina the Teenage Witch has my boys Hanson Friday the 11th.  Hear their rockin' new song -
  they're so much more than MMMBop, oh yes.     

  Recommended TV Viewing of the Month, Part 2:  Britney Alert!  I'm just tuning into the
  American Music Awards to see what she's wearing.  Does anyone remember Lionel Richie
  trying to make his comeback on the show a few years ago?  Long after the "Outrageous!" year,
  he opened the show with a booming voice-over, "It's been a long time, but I feel I've gots to
  come HOME!"  A big "L-I-O-N-E-L" followed, and then he performed and no one cared.  It
  was beautifully random.  Just saying.
